The current stock market is more or less following the same patter the 1928-1929 stock market leading up to the 1929 stock market crash. This, of course, is what marked the beginning of the Great Depression.
While many dismiss this correlation of data as suspect, it should at least give us concern. The stock market cannot go up indefinitely.
If the stock market doesn’t correct as sharply as it did in 1929 that would be great news! With all of this easy credit available, similar to the 1920s, the similarities between these two times is hard to ignore.
