Soldiers Banned From Saying “Christmas”

Soldiers at a military base in Mississippi were allegedly told not to use the word “Christmas” because it is “offensive.”

Base leaders came together a few weeks ago to plan a holiday football tournament. During the meeting, an officer said that the base could not use the term “Christmas” because it is offensive to those who do not celebrate the holiday. The officer said soldiers should be instructed to use the term “holiday” instead.

One soldier said, “Our equal opportunity representative stopped the briefing and told us that we can’t say Christmas. Almost the entire room blew up. Everybody was frustrated.”
