Conservative Group Launches Campaign to ‘Depose’ Boehner from Speakership

The backlash against Speaker of the House John Boehner’s removal of several conservative members of Congress from committees continued Wednesday, with one conservative group calling for Republicans to “depose” Boehner from his speakership.

American Majority Action (AMA) is launching a #FireBoehner campaign. If 16 members of the Republican Party abstain from voting for Boehner as speaker in January, he will be one vote shy of the 218 necessary to confirm his speakership.

“Speaker Boehner has been an abysmal failure as speaker, and his latest purge is the nail in the coffin for conservatives,” said Ned Ryun, president and CEO of AMA. “Boehner has never won a negation [sic] battle with the White House or Senate — and he’s been nothing short of an embarrassing spokesman for the conservative movement. It’s time for him to go.”

Yes, John Boehner has to go. His treasonous conduct of supporting the Establishment of ruling Elites over the Right of the People to be heard from their elected Representatives cannot be ignored. John Boehner is your typical career permanent politician who will play along with the Powers that Be rather than, represent the Citizenry. He’s a RINO and should be totally flushed from office along with many others come the election of 2014.

    • Remington 870 says:

Boehner is a career politician who plays both ends against the middle. He has no moral compass and will happily betray conservative values to help Obama destroy America. Boehner talks big, but then caves like a house of cards. Get him gone back to that pathetic state of Ohio.

    • King_of_the_Road says:

I have already called my representatives and told them to either vote against him or vote “present”. in either event he does not get my reps vote.

I for one have had a belly full of “MODERATE” representation.

A “MODERATE” is just a liberal/regressive without the guts to admit he is a Liberal/regressive.

Why is Boehner letting the 0′bomb limit the discussion to tax increases. Taxes are not the problem, SPENDING is the problem. Boehner should refuse any further discussion until the 0′bomb gets serious and puts specific spending cuts on the table. and that includes free 0′bombaphones.

      • Nelson Lentz says:

Wild, irresponsible, unlimited “SPENDING is the problem”. You hit the nail right on the head.

        • Saltporkdoc says:

Exactly, and without the unimited spending, Obama can’t support his paid minions to vote for him by giving out those Obamaphones without more help from Soros!

        • o says:

I can’t believe that Romney didn’t work that freebie phone thing into his bid for election and show how the democraps buy votes. What are they going to pull when obamy’s second term is done? Declare DICTATORSHIP!? No more elections? Scary!!!

        • Saltporkdoc says:

I took some comfort to finding that the 22nd amendment to theConstitution limits a president to 2 terms of 4 years, etc. But the way this POTTYUS dsidains and disregards the Constitution, I’m afraid you may be right. All that is left is a formal declaration of Dictatorial Powers! With the spineless legislative and judicial branches we currently have, they’d just rollover and play dead-er!
I cry for the lost brothers and the blood spilt in defense of this once great ideal! I’m embarrassed by the non-voters of the past and present.I only hope the Military remember the first thing their oath requires of the is the defense of the Constitution!

      • Right on with your words of wisdom, Taxes is not the word but spending is.

    • 3wheelnut says:

yeah along with 90% of the liberal lunatics, with them idiots representing our country were in serious danger

    • Dan Daly says:

Do you have a nominee ? The only congressman with a national face that I know of and trust to have the CJ’s to stand up and do the right thing(Alan West) just got unelected by the manufactured morons in his district.

    • Joanne Perez says:

Of course he should go, and so should most of the Republicans. What is of greater concern, though, is how we pro lifers were conned into supporting the likes of Boehner, McCain and Romney, to name just three. Last week on a major TV news program McCain said that pro lifers in the Republican party should simply state their case and “leave the issue alone”, in order for the party to secure a much needed electoral victory next time around. That’s the level of commitment McCain, whom we pro lifers worked so hard for in 2008, has to the pro life cause. We backed Romney, too, only to learn how mercenary his commitment to pro life is. And now we see Boehner, the most acclaimed of them all by the pro lifers, doing this. We have to wise up. No wonder the “social gospel” Catholics are blaming us. At least the ones they elect will follow through on their social gospel promises, even if they promote abortion. The ones we elect will help with neither the social gospel concerns nor the pro life agenda.

    • anybodybutobama says:

It is time for Boehner to cry himself to sleep!

  2. Dreamer says:

Give Boner the Boot. He’s the new Nancy Pelosi.

  3. Jay Chaloner says:

Bonehead should just join the Socialist Democrat party.

    • Hans says:

He is already a secret member of those traitors !!!!

    • Patriot says:

We have over 100 members of the house who are members of the American Socialist Party. Boner needs to go, but those member of the ASP are a true threat to American and need to be rooted out and exposed for what they are and what their goals are.

  4. c says:

I agree – lets get rid of the crying baby!

    • katie says:

I don’t care if he tears up or cries. It has meant zero. His actions/inactions have
cost us as much as a lost presidency…or more. He’s been wrong from the get go.
Anyone in that position needs to be able to really listen, then make a good call
not just for the Reps. but for the Nation as a whole. He is lost and we have lost more.

      • Greggie says:

Again, another politician with no integrity or moral fiber. Piece of crap.

      • Patty says:

So you would have attracted more single women, more Hispanics, more Asians, more Jews, more Youth, more Catholics by being more Conservative. I believe that lacks contact with reality. These groups who y must attract to win want less conservatism, not more. Even. Dick Morris will tell you that. Blame it on moochers, fraud, voter suppression (my favorite)….all that will be there again. Plus the superior geekness. Reality is a funny thing….it’s quite different than yours. Good luck with this one. Demented old white men rise again. Go get Sheriff Joe. I bet he can prove John is born in I would bet some wine drinking European country. He looks French to me.

        • colleenf says:

I could care less what Dick Morris says or thinks! I am more concerned what is happening to our country as a whole! The whole problem is that these ego maniacal fools in DC have listened to people like Morris for far too long! Who and what makes them any more intelligent, knowledgeable, or omniscient to know the future and the minds, concerns, cares, and desires of the American people??????
These so called political pundits spew their own beliefs and agendas and are no different from the snake oil salesmen of the past……..or unscrupulous used car salesmen…………. they will sell you anything to make a buck! These pundits’ jobs are to sell themselves first and foremost! It is a business and nothing more! If these ego maniacs would just do a novel thing like LISTEN to We The People, they just might be able to be better informed as to what we peons who work to pay their salaries are really concerned about and want for our country!!

        • Patriot says:

We need strong leadership who can effectively articulate Conservative principles. With a true leader, people will follow. Conservatism works every time it’s tried. We know who’s responsible for our present situation. It’s not our principles or beliefs that is causing us difficulty. All things are cyclical, and when the pendulum swings back, we will remove this scourge from our society and country. Liberalism is the politics of lazy people. Once they get tired of it which they will they will come to their senses and do the right thing.

        • Patriot says:

Why don’t we just dissolve the Republican Party and join the American Socialist Party aka Democrat party and be done with it. Why vote for liberal-lite when you can have the real deal? Is that what you are proposing?

  5. Carl Stevenson says:

  6. Paul Donovan says:

What , are we crazy , why do we always self destruct ? He’s the only one trying to do the right thing in Washington. You people need to get your heads checked.

    • stephen says:

Paul, put your thinking cap, open your eyes, and then read your posts. Man, you are so far off base you are AWOL. At least your brain is. Bonehead has shown his best, and it’s not good enough. Another chance? Like BO? Me thinks not.

    • cathat says:

Caving to the dumocrats is not the right thing to do. The fact that he has taken the real Conservatives from their committees for not going along w/his and Obama’s agenda is reason enough for me. These true conservatives were elected to serve their constituents, not to serve Boehner or Hussein Obama. Get rid of these establishment republicans. They are a big part of the problem!

      • colleenf says:

Agreed! These go along to get along RINOs in the Republican elite ruling class like Boehner have done the American people NO good!
We need a very strong leader to counter the likes of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, obama (I have NO respect for the man, so I NEVER capitalize the first letter of his name!) and the black caucus in Congress!!
We need someone who can stand up to them and tell the American people as well as the rest of the representatives that the dem(wit)s are lying and that we have got to curb/stop the spending!!

    • Medaton says:

Paul, his actions and words have shown that he does not have this nation’s best interests at heart. He has had a chance and has proved to be lacking when we really need a true HERO as Speaker!

    • Susan says:

Aw Paul. A voice of reason in a. Sea of demented, delusional old white men. There only thought is to dream up nastier names for the Dems they hate. They never c ease to amaze me that the GOP has fallen to being led by people who think names are the best way to define their vision. Yes calling Nancy nasty names is fun but it is zero effective and reminds me of a smart aleck Pre teen who needs to be grounded for a month….no right wing crazy blogs for a month. Then they can talk again. Sad for what was a great party. No. More.

    • Jerry says:

Okay Paul, tell us how he is trying to do the right thing, we need for you to explain that? Come on Paul. Please post the things that he has done that are right. We are waiting.

  7. pappap42 says:

GET rid of him. What a spineless wimp he is. If he would quit drinking all the time with his buddy Nancy. Two like minded people. All for me the he– with the USA.

  8. Paul Donovan says:

He might not be perfect but no one is and you will never find anyone perfect. Give him a try at least . Now Nancy poface , that’s another story. Someone needs to throw water on her to see if she melts.

  9. AlanWH says:

The Sooner this Sorry excuse for a leader goes, the better. Then he will have more time to golf with his buddy Hussein o. Pathetic. Just one more reason Republican voters stayed home.

  10. ConservativeinWI says:

yea, like the other “turn coats” they are threatening him or buying him off.

  11. Employed101 says:

Go for it! Boneher is a waste of O2

  12. Frank629 says:

    get rid of the boner

  13. Simon Jester says:

    It’s about friggin time!!!!

  14. AlwaysRight says:

I agree, Boehner must go. He was almost talking tough a few months ago, but look how easily he caved! We must replace the Republican elitists with true conservatives with cahones. That’s the only thing that will save this nation.

  15. Tuna says:

Boehner should have gone from speaker years ago.
