Conservative Group Launches Campaign to ‘Depose’ Boehner from Speakership

The backlash against Speaker of the House John Boehner’s removal of several conservative members of Congress from committees continued Wednesday, with one conservative group calling for Republicans to “depose” Boehner from his speakership.

American Majority Action (AMA) is launching a #FireBoehner campaign. If 16 members of the Republican Party abstain from voting for Boehner as speaker in January, he will be one vote shy of the 218 necessary to confirm his speakership.

“Speaker Boehner has been an abysmal failure as speaker, and his latest purge is the nail in the coffin for conservatives,” said Ned Ryun, president and CEO of AMA. “Boehner has never won a negation [sic] battle with the White House or Senate — and he’s been nothing short of an embarrassing spokesman for the conservative movement. It’s time for him to go.”

Yes, John Boehner has to go. His treasonous conduct of supporting the Establishment of ruling Elites over the Right of the People to be heard from their elected Representatives cannot be ignored. John Boehner is your typical career permanent politician who will play along with the Powers that Be rather than, represent the Citizenry. He’s a RINO and should be totally flushed from office along with many others come the election of 2014.

    • Remington 870 says:

Boehner is a career politician who plays both ends against the middle. He has no moral compass and will happily betray conservative values to help Obama destroy America. Boehner talks big, but then caves like a house of cards. Get him gone back to that pathetic state of Ohio.

      • Big Dan says:

Don’t take this as supporting Boehner as speaker, I don’t. But you have no idea. He owned and ran a plastic business in Greenville, OH for many years before entering poitics. So to make a stupid statement like you just did ensures that you do not know the whole story and are acting and speaking just like a Liberal.

        • Remington 870 says:

I stand corrected. Please don’t call me a liberal. So Called speaker Boehner has proven to be a whimp and unable to keep from being continually checkmated by Obama and his thugs. We need a Newt type of Speaker…mean, nasty and takes no prisoners.

Agreed! He needs to be meaner and nastier than Pelosi, Reid, etc! Give them a taste of their own medicine!

Newt I would definitely get behind. Maybe Bachmann of the Tea Party group. I will apologize for the liberal statement, but you were opening the door with the way you were laying thing out. I also truly believe that the democRATS are strong arming the majority with something. Barry Soetoro has something on these men. It may be the Chicago mentality with threats of harm knowing that he will be backed by his ilk in Pelosi and Reed..

Big Dan…I have been so angry for the past four years and remain so at this very moment…sometimes I am screaming through my fingers on the computer, and write words which should have been thought out before punching the send key. During the Viet Nam war I was scared…today I am mad and scared.

        • Big Dan says:

Remington, As a Viet Nam vet myself, I understand. Neither party is what it was when we served. Then it was George Mitchell and his group who were destroying us, but they also defended us in the military. The biggest jokes alive to the life in the military after the sixties were Carter, Clinton and now Soetoro. They demoralized the military and forced so many good men out of the service. They made dibilitating cuts to all branches, like cutting almost half of the navy out of active service, not personnel, but ships. Reagan and Bush both understood the significance of a strong military, Barry wants to hand us over to the UN and the Nazi thugs there-in. I am amazed that educated people can back a party that is bent on tearing our nation apart just for the sake of entitlements for the less privileged

Our colleges are ran by liberals, or socialist, and the students have no History classes to compare anything with. We are raising a bunch of loonies and that is our next leaders. Look at the leader we have now, and he went to college????? I would guess he never cracked a book, but someone’s money got him through it. Need to change the education systems from kindergarten up through college, and teach some good basics again, in reading, writing, history, spelling and math. Most of our graduates can’t do a thing without the computer and cell phones to do the thinking for them. I went to Applebees once and their computer system was down. The waitress came over to me in tears, and said she couldn’t wait on me, due to the computer being down. I told her to get me paper and pen, and I wrote down my order, then I ask what the tax rate was, and I figured up my bill… This is a sad world when our people can’t add or figure change to give you out of a dollar. Were raising a bunch of nincompoops.. Educated idiots…. Defund the education until it improves.
We would be the same without the education. They don’t learn anything useful anyway anymore. Put them all into trade schools so they can learn a career type job.

That one phrase makes my blood boil. Where in the Bible does it say God will help those who help themselves. No one has ever been able to give me an answer from God’s Word about that. Of course we are not to sit around and do nothing; but we are NOT to sit around and worry and get upset when we can’t do a thing about it. Has anyone done anything about the mess in WDC yet? Was -0 voted out with all the effort and money that was put into Romney’s campaign? People said they prayed but did they know how to pray? How many people are writing their congressman or senator and getting any action done? Has any group done anything. NO, we only hear grip, grip, grip, whine, anger, do this or do that but nothing is being done. Have any of the marches on WDC done any good? Have any of our conservative groups accomplished anything. Our Nation is spirling down the gutter faster than the rain.
There are over 7,000 promises that believers in the Lord Jesus Christ can claim and use each day. Jesus Christ is in control of history; it is time we let go and do His will according to His Word.

Great comment. However, I must correct the last paragraph of your comment, inasmuch as you say I gave you lessons. Last Paragraph, Line #1 – I do not think APART from God. I just reach him differently than you do. Last Paragraph – Line #2 – I am not someone who knows very little about His Word. I live his Word. I do NOT need to excuse myself, because I think I am good. I KNOW that I am good, and that pleases my Lord.

There are many “good” people on this earth and do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. There is a difference between Divine Good and human good. Anyone can produce human good but only those who are filled with the Holy Spirit can produce Divine Good. Human good does not please God; only Divine Good.

Really, what have you anyone else done to overcome evil? It is only getting worse until people turn back to God and do His will by learning His ways from His Word – not religion – and applying it to our lives then God will heal this land. People cannot get rid of evil but people can change their own life through His Word and encourage others to do the same. Yes, we have free will but God expects us to use it His way not go off doing what we think we should do without knowledge of what the Bible says. The Lord does not get tired and He wants to work for us but He will not if we are not following His will. If you are guided by your Lord then you would…

I really do not want to offend you, and I hope I haven’t. We are dealing with Marxists in the White House. My relationship with my Lord is that when I see EVIL, I do something about it if involves me and those i care about. This is FREE WILL. What makes you think I do not know what He wants less than you do? My heart has never turned away from the Lord. He has given me strength to do what I believe He wants me to do. Should I just listen to excerpts from the Bible that you have selected because it has meaning to you. No. Your excerpts would never have gotten through the open-heart surgery of my three-year old daughter, the implantation of her heart pacemaker at age 5, the deaths of three of my family members now buried at Arlington National Cemetery, or the death of my husband with Parkinson’s. A relationship with the Lord is a very personal thing. I deal directly with Him.

        • mallen11 says:

Yes, Delores, I believe in free will but if we don’t know what the will of God is through the knowledge of God’s Word we may be doing the wrong thing or going about it in a wrong way. This has been going on for too many years in our country and nothing is changing for the better so why not depend on the Lord for a change. If you know the narratives concerning Israel turning against God over and over again and all they needed to do was to trust in Him. That did not mean they did not train for battle to protect themselves as we are to do as well or be prepared in taking care of our family but to trust Him in all their needs. Where is your focus, on the Lord Jesus Christ or the evil in this world that we can’t control but He can. Those scriptures are for every believer who needs God in their lives. I am sorry to hear about your hardships with your family. Didn’t you lean on the Lord for support and power to go through those times? I have gone through breast cancer and I was 70 years old and it was hard and the only way I made it was depending on the Lord for His grace to sustain me. A relationship with the Lord is personal but also one shares what the Lord has done for them and it gives others comfort; that is one reason why we go through things like that. I suffer from a very painful hip problem that can’t be operated on and I am in pain 24/7 when I am not sleeping. I depend on the Lord and His grace sees me through each day.

        • Delores109 says:

          mallen11,
Thanks for your comment. You do realize when each of reads the Bible, we take from the words what EACH of us understands to be the meaning. My strength comes from the Lord, and I believe when I really come up with an idea that is meaningful and “good”, and I act upon it, I am using my Free Will to help the Lord carry out his work. Honestly, Mallen, i would feel like a Robot if I had to think in terms of each verse in the Bible before I did anything. That is how we are different. You find comfort in reading the words, and I feel terrific praying to the Lord. He gives me strength. I am sorry about the pain in your hip, Have you tried Motrin or Advil (which is weaker in strength)? I broke my arm this year, and Motrin did the trick. I have heard hip pain is unbearable, and I am sorry that you are in constant pain. I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, free from pain. God Bless You, Mallen.

We are very far apart when it comes to God’s Word. We can’t help the Lord do anything unless we know what is the right thing to do according to His Word and unless we are filled with the Holy Spirit it is only human good and not divine good. I don’t think in terms of each verse in the Bible as I live my life in the light of eternity. I do claim promise verses knowing He will fulfill them and that gives me comfort and strength throughout the day. I use Biblical principles before making decisions. There is no way we are robots as believers but responders to God’s way of thinking through the knowledge of His Word and His will for our lives. I am going to put it another way — when we have Bible Doctrine circulating in our frame of reference (brain) we usually will do things according to His will.

I am on prescription motrin and other drugs and use a walker. I better understand when the Bible says; “Be still and know that I am God.” I certainly have to be still most of the time and it does give me more time to learn more of His Word.
II Peter 3:8… but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity.
Jer 17:5 Thus says the LORD,” Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD
It comes down to this; as long as you and I are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ we know we will meet in heaven and we glorify Jesus Christ while here on earth.

Thanks for your comment. Here is where we are different. As a child, I learned God’s word, as I experienced life. If you don’t know God’s word as you are growing and living life, you are not going to be a decent person by the time you are an adult (although, you can be “found”.) You are using a walker, so when you read the Lord, saying, “be still’, you take it literally because you are in great pain. You enjoy reviewing His words, but you are NOT learning things. It seems you are a “good” person, so you are taking a refresher course. You assume that I cannot do anything, because I don’t know the Lord’s word. You feel that I must just read over and over again. Not true, if I have internalized his Word according to my meaning. None of us can be certain, that what we have internalized is better than another, but I use the way that I am living my life as a guide. I am a good person who intends to have Obama tried for ACTS OF TREASON. He, in my judgment is EVIL, as is George Soros. Look at this way, Mallen….if I am wrong, God will stop me…Right?

Delores, one can only learn God’s Word through reading and being taught; not experience it in life. I continue to learn God’s Word each day through the teaching from my pastor who teaches from the original languages of Hebrew and Greek and I am learning more and more. One cannot get enough of God’s Word to grow spiritually. I don’t think you should do anything you don’t want to do. I apologize if my comments made you feel that way. It is none of my business. I started out with the comment about God helping those who help themselves and it has really gotten out of hand. God does not interfer in your life unless you want Him to. If you don’t want His help, He doesn’t force it on you. We should learn God’s Word according to what it means; not what we think it means.

I want Boehner to repeal the law that starts January 1st, making it null and void. Write a new new law, ignore Obama, and bring new bill to the floor for a vote. Obama, no more games. You will NOT Hitlerize Americans. I am getting you out with your Muslim Brotherhood friends.

Boehner will cave. There goes the neighborhood.

        • henrypeter says:

          I’m with you
Remington. Boehner has to go. He is totally ineffective. We need someone, someone who knows our Country is being destroyed and who cares. Ever since Boehner went golfing with the president, things have gotten worse. We came off of a big win as you know in 2010. That victory has been marginalized again and again and is almost meaningless now. Boehner “did not grasp that moment then.” He and McConnell allowed that moment to slip away. Then we lost this election. But last year McConnell came up with that stupid idea for the super majority to come up with a plan for the debt and if they didn’t the plan was then to acquiesce to the president where we are now.

All I can say is that we Americans who love our Country have to get more active and get rid of all these RINO’s and put more in like Lee from Utah.

I’m tired of paying for illegals and all those who never work and those who do not take responsibility for their lives. These very individuals are expecting you and I to pick up the tab for their existence. That is all wrong and that is what has got to change.

or how about a man of character, if that exists in DC

      • Big Dan says:

As far as a pathetic state, you should be more wise in how you speak. Ohio is where the Interstate freeways were first unfolded. We are the birthplace of aviation. Many innovations have come from Ohio. John Boehner did talk the talk before the 2008 elections and his position to House Speaker. He has failed us since.

        • Billy Hill says:

Ohio?Dont they have Kleev-Land.100 voting districts had a 90% turnout(unheard of in recorded history)99% voted for Homobama????? Thats a pathetic claim to fame. And,I think the birthplace of aviation was actually Florence,Italy, the Wright Bros applied the principles & made it work

        • Big Dan says:

Each and every state has its problem city. California has more that you could count on one hand. We at once had many jobs and a good strong economy, but it was also linked to the auto industry. Now we have the folks in Cleveland and Cincinnati who were freed by Abraham Lincoln and given entitlements by Roosevelt. All states have voter fraud, especially Illinois, Florida, Louisiana and more than I would want to post up. Being extremely spitefull and vindictive here serves no purpose. Boehner at one time had his moral compass, someone has messed with it. Greenville is a very conservative little area known as Treaty City for the signing of the treaty with the indians. But that is history and some here are more interested in just being nasty and not looking for solutions. Actually, many here sound more like democRATS than conservatives.

        • sandraleesmith46 says:

That was FRAUD: and there’s no other word for it. As for the “birthplace” of Aviation, there was a working model of a glider found in one of the pharaonic tombs, so it’s a bit debatable; but the Montgolphier brothers in France were the first to get humans into the air, in balloons, and the Wright brothers the first to achieve powered flight.

        • Barb says:

Ohio is also the place with rampant voter fraud and enough “noodle brains” to re-elect Obama. Can’t be very smart folks. Fire Boehner today !!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that’s right, keep sucking up to John Boehner and his ilk, your parasitic nematode. There isn’t any difference between you or obama other than the speed at which you will send us into a Democratic Socialist Country. Try growing a backbone or at least do us the pleasure by moving to Cuba.

      • Bob says:

I agree with your point of view: but Ohio IS NOT pathetic!!

    • King_of_the_Road says:

      .
I have already called my representatives and told them to either vote against him or vote “present”. in either event he does not get my reps vote.

I for one have had a belly full of “MODERATE” representation.

A “MODERATE” is just a liberal/regressive without the guts to admit he is a Liberal/regressive.

Why is Boehner letting the 0′bomb limit the discussion to tax increases. Taxes are not the problem, SPENDING is the problem. Boehner should refuse any further discussion until the 0′bomb gets serious and puts specific spending cuts on the table. and that includes free 0′bombaphones.

      • Nelson Lentz says:

Wild, irresponsible, unlimited “SPENDING is the problem”. You hit the nail right on the head.

        • Saltporkdoc says:

Exactly, and without the unimited spending, Obama can’t support his paid minions to vote for him by giving out those Obamaphones without more help from Soros!

        • o says:

I can’t believe that Romney didn’t work that freebie phone thing into his bid for election and show how the democraps buy votes. What are they going to pull when obamy’s second term is done? Declare DICTATORSHIP!? No more elections? Scary!!!

        • Saltporkdoc says:

I took some comfort to finding that the 22nd amendment to theConstitution limits a president to 2 terms of 4 years, etc. But the way this POTTYUS dsidains and disregards the Constitution, I’m afraid you may be right. All that is left is a formal declaration of Dictatorial Powers! With the spineless legislative and judicial branches we currently have, they’d just rollover and play dead-er!
I cry for the lost brothers and the blood spilt in defense of this once great ideal! I’m embarrassed by the non-voters of the past and present.I only hope the Military remember the first thing their oath requires of the is the defense of the Constitution!

      • Right on with your words of wisdom, Taxes is not the word but spending is.

    • Dan Daly says:

Do you have a nominee ? The only congressman with a national face that I know of and trust to have the CJ’s to stand up and do the right thing(Alan West) just got unelected by the manufactured morons in his district.

      • tom says:

        dan,

to be speaker does not require to be in the house.

        • Big Dan says:

Speaker of the House or Senate requires one to be seated as a member of that said house. You don’t bring in someone from the outside. We have elected officials and then they appoint their majority leader. Reed is the majority leader and Boehner is the Speaker of the House, not speaker for the house,

      • Patriot says:

Hey, Alan West would be an excellent choice. He has a backbone. I think drafting Newt would be good too. He doesn’t take crap and he knows the job.

      • Delores109 says:

        Dan
We don’t need a nominee right now. We need to get Obama, Muslim Brotherhood out of the White House through a Court under THE RULE OF LAW.
We need to make certain that all radicals are convicted of TREASON, that Obama and Timothy Geithner, who has been funneling our money to Soros and Obama, do not get salaries or pensions. Obama, you are the Emporor without any Clothes. All of your assets will be stripped of you. You have met your match.

    • Joanne Perez says:

Of course he should go, and so should most of the Republicans. What is of greater concern, though, is how we pro lifers were conned into supporting the likes of Boehner, McCain and Romney, to name just three. Last week on a major TV news program McCain said that pro lifers in the Republican party should simply state their case and “leave the issue alone”, in order for the party to secure a much needed electoral victory next time around. That’s the level of commitment McCain, whom we pro lifers worked so hard for in 2008, has to the pro life cause. We backed Romney, too, only to learn how mercenary his commitment to pro life is. And now we see Boehner, the most acclaimed of them all by the pro lifers, doing this. We have to wise up. No wonder the “social gospel” Catholics are blaming us. At least the ones they elect will follow through on their social gospel promises, even if they promote abortion. The ones we elect will help with neither the social gospel concerns nor the pro life agenda.

    • anybodybutobama says:

It is time for Boehner to cry himself to sleep!

    • Hans says:

    • Patriot says:

We have over 100 members of the house who are members of the American Socialist Party. Boner needs to go, but those member of the ASP are a true threat to American and need to be rooted out and exposed for what they are and what their goals are.

Anyone in that position needs to be able to really listen, then make a good call
not just for the Reps. but for the Nation as a whole. He is lost and we have lost more.

      • Greggie says:

Again, another politician with no integrity or moral fiber. Piece of crap.

      • Patty says:

So you would have attracted more single women, more Hispanics, more Asians, more Jews, more Youth, more Catholics by being more Conservative. I believe that lacks contact with reality. These groups who y must attract to win want less conservatism, not more. Even. Dick Morris will tell you that. Blame it on moochers, fraud, voter suppression (my favorite)….all that will be there again. Plus the superior geekness. Reality is a funny thing….it’s quite different than yours. Good luck with this one. Demented old white men rise again. Go get Sheriff Joe. I bet he can prove John is born in I would bet some wine drinking European country. He looks French to me.

        • colleenf says:

I could care less what Dick Morris says or thinks! I am more concerned what is happening to our country as a whole! The whole problem is that these ego maniacal fools in DC have listened to people like Morris for far too long! Who and what makes them any more intelligent, knowledgeable, or omniscient to know the future and the minds, concerns, cares, and desires of the American people??????
These so called political pundits spew their own beliefs and agendas and are no different from the snake oil salesmen of the past……..or unscrupulous used car salesmen…………. they will sell you anything to make a buck! These pundits’ jobs are to sell themselves first and foremost! It is a business and nothing more! If these ego maniacs would just do a novel thing like LISTEN to We The People, they just might be able to be better informed as to what we peons who work to pay their salaries are really concerned about and want for our country!!

        • Patriot says:

We need strong leadership who can effectively articulate Conservative principles. With a true leader, people will follow. Conservatism works every time it’s tried. We know who’s responsible for our present situation. It’s not our principles or beliefs that is causing us difficulty. All things are cyclical, and when the pendulum swings back, we will remove this scourge from our society and country. Liberalism is the politics of lazy people. Once they get tired of it which they will they will come to their senses and do the right thing.

        • Patriot says:

Why don’t we just dissolve the Republican Party and join the American Socialist Party aka Democrat party and be done with it. Why vote for liberal-lite when you can have the real deal? Is that what you are proposing?

  5. Carl Stevenson says:

    Yes!

  6. Paul Donovan says:

What , are we crazy , why do we always self destruct ? He’s the only one trying to do the right thing in Washington. You people need to get your heads checked.

    • stephen says:

Paul, put your thinking cap, open your eyes, and then read your posts. Man, you are so far off base you are AWOL. At least your brain is. Bonehead has shown his best, and it’s not good enough. Another chance? Like BO? Me thinks not.

    • cathat says:

Caving to the dumocrats is not the right thing to do. The fact that he has taken the real Conservatives from their committees for not going along w/his and Obama’s agenda is reason enough for me. These true conservatives were elected to serve their constituents, not to serve Boehner or Hussein Obama. Get rid of these establishment republicans. They are a big part of the problem!

      • colleenf says:

Agreed! These go along to get along RINOs in the Republican elite ruling class like Boehner have done the American people NO good!
We need a very strong leader to counter the likes of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, obama (I have NO respect for the man, so I NEVER capitalize the first letter of his name!) and the black caucus in Congress!!
We need someone who can stand up to them and tell the American people as well as the rest of the representatives that the dem(wit)s are lying and that we have got to curb/stop the spending!!

    • Medaton says:

Paul, his actions and words have shown that he does not have this nation’s best interests at heart. He has had a chance and has proved to be lacking when we really need a true HERO as Speaker!

    • Susan says:

Aw Paul. A voice of reason in a. Sea of demented, delusional old white men. There only thought is to dream up nastier names for the Dems they hate. They never c ease to amaze me that the GOP has fallen to being led by people who think names are the best way to define their vision. Yes calling Nancy nasty names is fun but it is zero effective and reminds me of a smart aleck Pre teen who needs to be grounded for a month….no right wing crazy blogs for a month. Then they can talk again. Sad for what was a great party. No. More.

    • Jerry says:

Okay Paul, tell us how he is trying to do the right thing, we need for you to explain that? Come on Paul. Please post the things that he has done that are right. We are waiting.

  7. pappap42 says:

GET rid of him. What a spineless wimp he is. If he would quit drinking all the time with his buddy Nancy. Two like minded people. All for me the he– with the USA.

  8. Paul Donovan says:

He might not be perfect but no one is and you will never find anyone perfect. Give him a try at least . Now Nancy poface , that’s another story. Someone needs to throw water on her to see if she melts.

  9. AlanWH says:

The Sooner this Sorry excuse for a leader goes, the better. Then he will have more time to golf with his buddy Hussein o. Pathetic. Just one more reason Republican voters stayed home.

  14. AlwaysRight says:

I agree, Boehner must go. He was almost talking tough a few months ago, but look how easily he caved! We must replace the Republican elitists with true conservatives with cahones. That’s the only thing that will save this nation.

  15. Tuna says:

Boehner should have gone from speaker years ago.
